Every dish that leaves the Govindam Retreat kitchen is vegetarian, from the dal bati churma to the pasta in the fusion party menu. That is what we mean by a pure vegetarian restaurant in Jaipur. There is no meat or fish on any of our menus, so a vegetarian family does not have to check each line.

What makes Govindam Retreat a pure vegetarian restaurant in Jaipur?
Govindam Retreat serves 100% vegetarian food, as the Rajasthani thali page states, and every package on the site is a veg menu. The restaurant is in Gangori Bazaar near Govind Dev Ji Temple, open daily 10 AM to 11 PM, phone +91 9929949258.
Because the whole kitchen is vegetarian, guests rarely ask "is this veg?". They ask whether it can be Jain, or made without onion and garlic. Both are possible with notice, and the next section explains how.
Can I get Jain food or food without onion and garlic?
Yes. The menu pages say Jain food, food without onion and garlic, less spicy food and allergy needs require prior intimation. Call +91 9929949258 before your visit, or add the request when you book, so the kitchen can prepare those plates separately.
The standard thali has onion raita, onion salad and lehsun ki chutney, a garlic chutney. Tell the team which guests need Jain plates, so the rest of the table can still eat the regular menu. Our Jain food guide covers this request in more detail.
